Our holiday park is located right on Het Zwarte Schaar, an old meander of the IJssel River, where the marina and the recreational beach offer plenty of space for water activities. Our park offers a variety of accommodations: from tiny houses and chalets to camping sites and spacious group accommodations suitable for up to 10 people. You can also choose a unit with a private dock or a fenced-in yard. Would you like to go boating on the river, hike through nature, or simply relax by the water? Thanks to our diverse accommodations and our central location between the Veluwe and the Achterhoek, every holidaymaker will find their ideal spot here.

During your holiday on the IJssel, you can easily bike into the natural beauty of the IJssel Valley, the Achterhoek, and Veluwezoom National Park. Cycle the famous 8 Castles Route past historic country estates or explore charming Hanseatic towns such as Zutphen, Doesburg, and Deventer. Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands, is also just around the corner. Culture and nature lovers can easily combine a day trip with a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum in De Hoge Veluwe National Park.

Can I fish from the water at your holiday park on the IJssel?

Absolutely! You’ll find excellent fishing spots at Het Zwarte Schaar. A fishing permit is available at the front desk for €5 per day or €15 per week.

Please note that fishing in the harbor and in the dredging pit is not permitted. Looking for a change of pace? Then visit the Breukink trout fishing pond in Steenderen (5 km away). There, you can fish without a permit or VISpas.

Can I rent bicycles at your holiday park on the IJssel?

Yes, definitely! You can easily rent regular bikes, e-bikes, and kids' bikes at the front desk or through this link. Head out with the wind in your hair and explore the beautiful natural surroundings. Feel free to ask our staff at the front desk about the best hiking and biking trails in the area!
