Your berth has electricity and water nearby, and you can use the modern restrooms, the fuel station, and all the facilities at the park.

I don't have my own boat. Can I rent one?

Yes, absolutely! Through our partner Huurjesloep.nl, you can easily rent a comfortable, electric rowboat . These boats are already waiting for you in the harbor near our park. You don’t need a boating license, so you can hop right in for a whisper-quiet cruise across Het Zwarte Schaar. You can reserve a boat directly online through the Huurjesloep.nl website .

Can I book a vacation rental near my boat?

Yes, absolutely! If you really want to sleep on the water, we highly recommend our luxurious 4-person Waterlodge . In this comfortable, floating vacation home , you can enjoy a fantastic view of the marina from your terrace. Would you prefer a cottage on shore with a little more space? We’ve got you covered there, too. You can walk right to the water from anywhere in the park, and all our accommodations are just a short walk from the marina.

Do I need a boating license to boat on the IJssel?

For most rowboats and small motorboats, you do not need a boating license . A boating license is required only if your boat is longer than 15 meters or can travel faster than 20 km/h. Because the IJssel is a large river, you’ll sometimes share the water with larger cargo ships and the local ferries near Dieren and Bronkhorst. Always give them plenty of room and pass them slowly.

Our marina is a proud Blue Flag holder. This international certification guarantees a safe, clean, and sustainable marina, which is immediately evident in the energy-efficient LED lighting and solar-powered hot-water showers.

You’ll find all the necessary facilities here for a comfortable and worry-free stay. These include modern restrooms, a convenient boat ramp, and a floating fuel station. You can easily and environmentally friendly dispose of your wastewater at our pump station. With the handy bilge pump, you can also safely remove residual water and oil from your boat’s hold.

Our peaceful marina is sheltered along Het Zwarte Schaar. From this historic meander, you can cruise leisurely up the IJssel River and set your own course. Will you head upstream to the Hanseatic city of Doesburg, or go with the current toward Bronkhorst, Zutphen, and Deventer? Whatever your destination, you’ll fully enjoy the characteristic floodplains, dikes, and IJssel villages along the way. Tip: Keep in mind that the return trip against the current will take a little extra time.
