Water and Hanseatic Cities

Do you like to be in control and do you like being on or in the water, then EuroParcs Marina Strandbad is the right place for you. The area is perfect for sporting activities on land or on the water. Not only do you sail straight onto the IJssel from the marina of the park, you can also come to the park with your own boat. For shorter trips on the water, canoes and SUP's are available for hire at the park. In addition, there are many nice walking and cycling routes in the area.

Castles, villages and the Hoge Veluwe National Park

Culture lovers can indulge themselves here. Charming Hanseatic cities such as Deventer and Zutphen are within easy reach. Stroll through the streets of Bronkhorst, the smallest city in the Netherlands. Or enjoy the silence of the countryside with its picturesque villages, country houses and farms. This is also the area where imposing castles watch over their surroundings. Such as Vorden Castle, which is part of the popular cycling route: the 8 castles route. Nearby are two national parks: National Park de Veluwezoom and National Park de Hoge Veluwe, the largest national park in the Netherlands, where you look out over the moors, vast forests and sand drifts. In the middle of the park you will find the Kröller-Müller Museum with the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world.

If you enjoy being at the helm and being on or in the water, then EuroParcs Marina Strandbad is the place for you. The area is perfect for sporting activities on land or on water. Not only can you sail directly from the park's marina onto the IJssel River, you can also bring your own boat to the park. For shorter trips on the water, canoes and SUPs are available for rent at the park. There are also plenty of great hiking and biking routes in the area.
